Elder Nate Austin

Hi  This past week we spent a lot of time finishing finding and updating those members lists. I had finished it in my last ward and then i came here and it still wasn´t done so i had to do it all over again but this past week we finished it once and for all so hopefully i will never have to do it again. Yesterday we had our zone conference we helped give a training about baptismal dates. The conference lasted a long time it started like at 10 am  and finished close to 5pm  but at least week got to eat lunch there.  One fun thing that I have been doing for language study is translating my patriarchal blessing to spanish. It is fun but difficult to translate, because you have to say things differently sometimes and find words that have to closest meaning. It also makes me think of joseph smith translating the book of mormon in like 91 days or something like that. Its taking me several days just to translate page and a half. Hey mom. I hope you are having fun in florida with Brookie. I hope she had a good birthday and that i am still her favorite even though she is 5 now. This past week went past really fast, especially for all the divisions we had. On thursday we had interviews with Presidents Gwilliam. This will be my last interview with him before the last one. After the interviews we did divisions between the zone leaders in the south. I went to the zone El Bosque with Elder Mckane. On sunday Carolina (an investigator) attended church with her two daughters. It when great and a lot of members got to know them. The only problem is that her daughters go to their dad´s every 2 of 3 weekends. Then sunday afternoon we had a open chapel and after the open chapel we had to do an emergency division with some elders from our zone. I also left this time and the divisions lasted until Tuesday  afternoon. So I have been out of my sector a lot since i last talked to you guys but it was a good week.  The best th

Hey mom it was great to talk to you on sunday. Its crazy to think thats the last time i´ll talk to you before i see you guys in real life. I am so happy you got my letter too. It didn't´t even take too long. I will now write letters to everyone else now. I´m glad you got my proof of my ability to write with my left hand.  On sunday it was day light savings time but we forgot to change our clocks so we woke up and went to church an hour early and we got there and no one was there and we realized that time had changed and we were there early. I had my one chance to get an hour extra of sleep and i missed it!! with the change of time it is getting dark super early, we are outside in the street and it feels like its  midnight .  This next weeek the elders that were from the other branch that got combined with our ward and going to to come and live with us. That will be good because it is a lot for fun to live with 4 than 2, the downside is that it will be a little more cramped. 

Hey hows it going? This week has been pretty good until now.  Sunday  is the ward conference and we are going to have activities on almost everyday this week. We are in charge of the activity tonight. And yesterday some members brought a family to the activity and they said they´ll come tonight so we could have some good potential there. Today we went to the temple in the morning and then when we were coming back Elder Gowers (My old comp) called me up and told me they were going to be starting star wars 8 at the mission office in a half an hour so we booked it over there and got to watch star wars 8!!! It was a amazing, im so happy right now, it was a really good pday. Right now for my studies i am reading 2 chapters from the book of mormon and then i read two chapters from the new testament and then i read a little bit of isaiah. We asked for bikes because our sector is pretty big and we waste a lot of time sometimes walking places-especially when appointments fall. So we will

Hey hows it going Last we was a pretty good week, we had our concilio meeting with president and the other zone leaders and we watched a new training from elder Uchtdorf about working with members. Things have been going well with elder Rei. We haven`t really talked much in Portuguese but im going to give english classes and he is going to give Portuguese classes so we will see.  This pday we didn`t do anything too excited. we got money for the month and so we went and bought food and ate at subway.  This past week I finished reading jesus the christ for the second time but the first time in spanish. It is a really great book and I enjoyed it just as much in spanish as i did in english. right now for my studies i just try and read at least 2 chapters of the book of mormon everyday and then i read jesus the christ or preach me gospel. We still have several haitians we are teaching. there are a lot of haitians everywhere just not quite as much as my last sector. We are teac

Hi, I didn´t talk to gabriel for a long time and had heard that he was going to get married and then i got his number to talk to him and he invited me when we were talking.  This past week there were changes, my new companion is elder Rei from sao paolo brazil. he got to the mission the same time i did but will go home a change after. We are still in ohiggins as zone leaders. Elder Gowers went to the office. Things are going pretty good in the ward we don´t have any investigatores that are close to baptism but there is lotts of potencial here.  I think i am enduring to the end pretty well. i am feeling pretty good, don´t worry about me.  Today we watched rogue 1 for pday  i want to see star wars 8 so bad, but no one tell me anything about it, or i will end all comunication with them for the next three months :)  I love you take care Love Elder Austin
