Hey mom this week has been pretty good. Gina is doing good as well she came to church this past week and because she doesn't`t understand anything we usually take advantage of the time and teach her there while we have bennisoit with us.  Another time we were teaching Gina during the week we were teaching her about the importance of the book of mormon and while we were teaching her another hatian guy that lives there told us he would read the book of mormon if we could get him one. So he could be a good potential investagator and we are still waiting for the book of mormon in creole to get here so we can give it to him. The only problem is that it will be hard to take on another hatian that doesn't`t speak any spanish because it is already difficult to get time to teach Gina with bennisiot.  We also found someone doing the list of all the members, we were doing that and there was a name and a house that we had looked for before and we hadn't been able to find it so we th

Hola mom whats up. The Highlight of this week was that this past friday it snowed in Santiago. It has been at least 40 years since it has snowed here and everyone went crazy because it snowed.  Friday night at like  4am  we got 3 texts from ward members telling us to wake up and see the snow.  It was the first day Elder Topalda had seen snow.  All the snow melted that afternoon when the sun came out but everyone was still pretty excited. The only problem with that is that no one came to church on sunday because it was cold we were a total of 17 and 4 of them were missionaries. Wow federer just keeps on going. And he won the whole thing without dropping a set!? It looks like he might be able to hang in there until the next Olympics to get that gold metal. The bread was really good but I might need a refresher before I can make bread like he does.  Gina is doing good and her baby is doing pretty good as well. I think Catalia (Her baby) had pneumonia or something like that. Her

Hey mom hows it going?  Yeah I know what Mate is. it is a drink that technically is from argentina but a lot of chileans drink it too. Its not against the word of wisdom. My companion drinks mate almost every day. I personally do not like mate it tastes like dirt at first but the say if you keep trying it you eventually get over it. But i wouldn't`t even want to keep drinking it because it does have a ton of caffeine. A lot of gringos do return drinking mate.  Gina is doing pretty good, this week we started teaching her again and put another baptism date with her.  This week we did a great activity for the elders quorum in the church. A blind less active guy named Saul taught everyone how to make bread for the activity. It was pretty cool learning from the blind master and having an activity where we could include a less active.  Some things that im studying... I usually change it up everyday I always read the book of mormon then I study preach my gospel and study other

So it turns out that i didn't get transfered this change. I was expecting to go because I already have 6 months in the ward and 11 months (whole mission) in the zone el bosque.  So it looks like I will be here in my first zone when I complete 1 year. I will be staying with Elder Topalda too for our third change together.  Right now Gina is doing a lot better.  Catalia( her daughter) was in the hospital for a week and then this sunday she got out, and Gina also got a job and started working on monday so that is really good for her. We havn't been able to teach her or anything but throughout all this she was able to bond with some members through the help they gave so that will be good in the future.  This past sunday Chile lost to Germany in the final of a soccer tournament (I know you guys don´t know anything about this or soccer but here all the chileans are devastated for the lost). Pretty much what I have learnt in my time in chile is that soccer is more important tha

hey  mom I did eat 5 plates of sushi and it was pretty good. Santiago center is pretty dang cool we have to take advantage when we have visa things to do or when we go to the temple.  The package that you sent we was perfect I liked everything you sent. The fitbit works. I usually get about 20,000 steps every day. which is about 10 miles so we walk a good amount. it also tells me that I burn about 3,500 calories everyday too. but its pretty cool .I like it.  To what city is megan going to in the Dominican republic. If I ask around with the hatians I can probably find a connection to there. I also hear that Dominicans cut hair pretty well so maybe i`ll have to hit them up on of these weeks in her honor.  My companion has been in the mission for about a year and a half and I am fairly confident that I`m going. I should be going at least because I already have 6 months in the sector and the entire mission in the zone. I did ask president about this in our interview and he hinte
