Week #48 July 5, 2017

So it turns out that i didn't get transfered this change. I was expecting to go because I already have 6 months in the ward and 11 months (whole mission) in the zone el bosque.  So it looks like I will be here in my first zone when I complete 1 year. I will be staying with Elder Topalda too for our third change together.

Right now Gina is doing a lot better.  Catalia( her daughter) was in the hospital for a week and then this sunday she got out, and Gina also got a job and started working on monday so that is really good for her. We havn't been able to teach her or anything but throughout all this she was able to bond with some members through the help they gave so that will be good in the future.

This past sunday Chile lost to Germany in the final of a soccer tournament (I know you guys don´t know anything about this or soccer but here all the chileans are devastated for the lost). Pretty much what I have learnt in my time in chile is that soccer is more important that everything, period.
For the 4th of july we had a little barbecue because we got 3 gringos in the house and there more missionaries live on the same street as us so at night we did that together. So the 4th of july was remembered in chile.

I hope megan is having a good time in the Dominican republic. I need to talk to my haitians and find out were in the Dominican rep they are from. This week I met juniors brother in law and he lived there for 15 years and speaks perfect spanish.

-we had a zone conference this week with president Gwilliam and the theme was christ like attributes.

Today for pday we went to the temple again as a zone and after we ate at subway!
 I love you
Love Elder Austin
