Week # 76 January 17, 2018

HI mom thanks for updating me all about your trip to California and telling me about all the fun things you are doing with out me. Yesterday were able to see the transmission for the prophet.  Well they told us at the last minute that there were showing it at a another chapel in the stake and by the time we got over there we missed that first part were they Announced  president nelson as prophet. But we were able to see the news conference that happened after when they asked the first presidency questions. The pope came to chile on Monday and yesterday no one had to work (supposedly to go see him but instead all the members didn´t have to work and could watch the transmission of president nelson.  A bunch of people aren't happy though about the pope coming because chile had to pay a bunch of money to have him come. 

This past week we have been teaching a new investigator named Livon he is another Hatian that lives in the house were junior and yolanda live. He has been in chile for like two years so he speaks spanish very well. He is here with his girlfriend and 1 year old kid but he will have to get married before he can get baptized but he already recognizes this. he went to church this past Sunday. 

 

This past week I finished reading the book of Mormon for the third time in Spanish so I have now official read all scripture more in Spanish than in English. 

 

I am also starting to read Jesus the Christ in Spanish as well

today for pday we are just going to go say goodbye to a bunch of people in old wards of elder rodriguez
